Non functional aesthetic forms, two or three dimensional, such as devices, machines or more particularly ornamental objects and jewellery, may be protected through registration of a design.

For this purpose, we are able to provide our clients with the following services:

• examination of your creations and advice regarding their protection as a design;
• advice regarding registration possibilities and means for worldwide protection;
• searches among registered models and designs where possible, such as, for example, among International, French, or US models, by name or subject matter;
• filing of simple or multiple models and designs before national and international Authorities (such as WIPO), and also according to national laws or international treaties, such as the Hague Agreement;
• publication of cautionary notices in countries where it is possible and/or recommended;
• watch of filings by third parties;
• examination of possible infringement/imitations and intervention against infringing parties;
• preparation of contracts, such as licenses and assignments.
